MY PROCESS

My portrait sessions are intentionally unstructured, intuitive, and almost always informal. Clients come to me for something different—something less packaged and less traditional, with a natural, moodier style. We’ll walk together (with occasional bushwhacking) to find beautiful light and interesting shadows—someone might end up in the water (that often works, out, too!) —and we’ll just let the moments unfold on their own. The best images happen when we forget the camera, shed self-awareness, and naturally settle in. Because of that, the final photographs often feel dream-like—evoking intimacy, stillness, and presence.

If this style resonates with you and you are interested in a portrait session that feels unique and more personal, I’d love to collaborate.

10% off all photography sales and portrait sessions are donated back to the community. Here are the organizations you’ve helped support!
